Round-up.
A lot of the work that I’m doing on the London Film Festival will bypass Hope Lies at 24 Frames Per Second completely, being that its being written for the slightly different audience of another website for which I write, TheCultureVulture.co.uk. If you’re interested in checking out the preview I did for them then feel free to click on this LINK. I also produced a preview of next months Leeds International Film Festival for The Culture Vulture, as its my next big adventure post-London. I’ll be doing a preview article on that for Hope Lies when London is over, alongside fancy specialist graphic no doubt, but for the sake of lessening the opportunity for confusion I decided against putting that particular article up here to avoid mix-ups between the two big L-led festivals. Check out the Leeds preview HERE if you like though.
Anyway, London opens tonight, with Mark Romanek’s Never Let Me Go so join me tomorrow morning for a round up of the opening night’s festivities. A daily festival journal will be published every morning, attempting to chart the action and reaction to all the screenings and events of the festival.
