As you will no doubt notice over the coming hours and days we’ve taken to numbering each film reviewed during this year’s London Film Festival. The number correlates with the order in which the film was screened to press. While this is simply an attempt at cataloguing the films which we cover in a convenient manner, you might notice that a number of reviews go live out of order. This is simply due to the nature of embargoes, and while it shouldn’t be too much of an issue we figured that an explanation now would solve any confusion later on.

Speaking of which, our first London Film Festival 2011 review, of Jeff Nichols’ Take Shelter ought to be going live any minute now…
