It’s a very quiet week for home video, with the most notable title being Jean Dujardin’s follow-up to The Artist.

The Players – It would seem that even an Academy Award for Best Actor can’t guarantee your work a wide release. The Players was given a very limited release a few weeks ago, but only now makes it wide thanks to home video. Dujardin and his The Artist director Michel Hazanavicius each direct segments of the film.

The Night Porter – Liliana Cavani’s controversial and seminal work still shocks almost forty years on. Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling lead a nasty, harsh film.

Mirror Mirror – Included here solely thanks to the director’s reputation.
