A belated round-up this week.
The Dark Knight Trilogy. A lavish re-release of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The jury is out on whether or not the upgrade is worth it for anyone who already owns the films on Blu-ray: while the new extras sound great there remains the feeling that this isn’t particularly definitive. Also comes with three strange looking toy cars.
The Addams Family. A long-time glaring omission from disc-based home video. Barry Sonnenfeld’s reworking of the classic American sitcom is a fun film.
Truckers And The Final Programme. Nostalgia reigns with this television adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Truckers, while we’ve never heard of The Final Programme, but the artwork and synopsis captured our attention. I’m hoping Hope Lies’ regular genre expert Rob Girvan will be along in the comments section at some point to give the further explain just what it is.
